A good article on how to remind without nagging. Nagless Reminders are set by not sending the response until the time that the respondee needs to be reminded. For instance, I send an email to Joe on Friday requesting he review my proposal regarding xyz. Joe shoots back a “I will do it on Tuesday” response. If I respond now, Joe will probably forget unless I remember to email him on Tuesday. What I do is respond to his email with a “Thank you for getting my project review for xyz scheduled for Tuesday, please let me know if anything is unclear.” HOWEVER, I click on the “options” button and set the message to not be delivered before 9:00 AM on Tuesday so that it is on the top of his email stack for Tuesday.

Good idea. Wish I had know about this sooner.
